Tattersalls Online Announces Details for the 2024 Online Breeze Up Session

Tattersalls Online have announced details for the Online Breeze Up Session which is scheduled to feature as part of the June Online Sale on 5^th – 6^th June. 

The Online Breeze Up Session will be available to consignors located in Britain and Ireland with breeze ups to be held at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Tuesday 21^st May and at Dundalk Stadium on Tuesday 28^th May. Both breeze up options will be available for unraced two-year-olds and will provide an opportunity for entries to gallop on the all-weather tracks in similar fashion to conventional breeze up sales.

This initiative follows on from the successful running of the inaugural Tattersalls Online Breeze Up Session held at Dundalk in 2023 which saw 18 lots offered and 13 sold at a clearance rate of 72%. Top prices at last year’s sale were 23,000gns, 15,500gns and 14,000gns with lots sold to buyers from the UK, Ireland, Italy and the Gulf Region.

Spectators are welcome to attend the breeze ups at both Chelmsford and Dundalk where vendors will breeze their two-year-olds over a distance of their choice and each lot will be filmed. The breeze footage will then be uploaded to the Tattersalls Online website and published on Thursday 30^th May. 

All lots will be catalogued with their vendor contact details listed on the Tattersalls Online website providing potential buyers the opportunity to make enquiries and arrange an inspection of any lot prior to the sale.

The Online Breeze Up Session will form part of the Tattersalls Online June Sale on 5^th – 6^th June which is open to all entry types.
