Sioux Nation Filly Shines in the Tattersalls Online June Sale
The Tattersalls Online June Sale was topped by the San Antone Lodge consigned SIOUX NATION filly out of JEBEDIAH SHINE who was knocked down to the winning bid of Rycran Investments for 23,000 guineas. The chestnut filly ran an impressive breeze in the inaugural Online Breeze Up Session at Dundalk Stadium on 19th of May and has given a good indication that she can produce something of similar quality on the racetrack for her new owners.
Richard Young of Rycran Investments was very positive following the purchase of the filly and commended the online platform for its simplicity and the forward-thinking approach to selling two-year-olds this way:
Amongst the lots featured in the Online Breeze Up Session was the P&C Bloodstock consigned filly by HIGHLAND REEL out of BLUE CLOUD which was purchased by Kilbrew Stables for 15,500 guineas as well as the Calvin Nugent consigned BELARDO filly out of LADY BEE which sold for 14,000 guineas to top bloodstock agent to Freddy Tylicki.
Also finding favour in the sale was the well-bred DRAGON PULSE mare ADARE BEAUTY presented by Baroda Stud was sold for 10,000 guineas to Tommy Dowling Racing who was active in the sale purchasing two lots.
The Tattersalls Online June Sale realised a turnover of 138,200 guineas for the sale of 19 lots at an average of 7,274 guineas. Over 150 bidders registered for the sale from across Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Germany and from multiple locations across Europe and the Gulf region.
