A lifetime breeding right to Whitsbury Manor Stud’s rising star HAVANA GREY, will be offered in the Tattersalls Online November Sale which will take place on the 16 – 17 November. The young sire has had a spectacular start to his stud career highlighted by 13 Group/Listed performers in his first crop of runners including Group 3 winners RUMSTAR, EDDIE’S BOY, and LADY HOLLYWOOD, Listed winners SHOULDVEBEENARING and CUBAN MISTRESS and Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes runner up MAYLANDSEA. There was great demand for the stallion’s progeny at the yearling sales this Autumn including a colt from Kilminfoyle House Stud that realised 325,000 guineas. Whitsbury Manor Stud have announced that HAVANA GREY will stand for a fee of £18,500 in 2023 and there should be no shortage of suitors for the breeding right to one of the most in demand young stallions standing in Europe.

A share in dual hemisphere shuttler ALMANZOR will also feature in the Tattersalls Online November Sale. The Champion three-year-old, who stands at Haras d’Etreham in France, stood for a fee of €30,000 in 2022, and has made an exciting start to his stud career, boasting winners in four countries across both hemispheres. The multiple Group 1 winning son of WOOTTON BASSETT joined the ranks of Group 1 producing stallions following the impressive win of MANZOICE in the Group 1 Victoria Derby at Flemington. The sire of 13 Group/Listed performers to date, his top performing northern hemisphere runners include the French Listed winners RAJAPOUR, AROUND MIDNIGHT and LASSAUT as well as the Chad Brown trained Woodhaven Stakes winner UNANIMOUS CONSENT. His leading southern hemisphere progeny also include two-year-old Listed winner and Group 1 placed DYNASTIC. ALMANZOR has continued to prove immensely popular with breeders' covering significant books of 140 mares in 2021, as well as a further 129 mares in 2022.
