Initial Entries Confirmed for the Tattersalls Online Breeze Up Session

Initial entries for the inaugural Tattersalls Online Breeze Up session, which features as part of the Tattersalls Online June Sale on 7 - 8 June, have been published on the Tattersalls Online website, numbering 24 lots. Vendors will be breezing their two-year-olds at the state-of-the-art facilities at Dundalk Stadium from 10:00 am on Friday 19th May with prospective buyers welcome to attend.

The first sale of its kind on the Tattersalls Online platform, the online breeze up session has received strong support from leading breeze up consignors Grangecoor Farm, Greenhills Farm, Grove Stud and Powerstown Stud as well as drafts from Browne Brothers Bloodstock and Friars Lough Stables amongst many others. 

Highlights of the catalogue include a colt by sire revelation STARSPANGLEDBANNER consigned by Katie Walsh’s Greenhills Farm. P & C Bloodstock present a filly by emerging young sire HIGHLAND REEL out of BLUE CLOUD, the dam of 2 black type performers to date including ENCOSTA DE LAGO mare EMPOWERING, winner of the Group 3 1000 Guineas Trial and the Listed Sweet Mimosa Stakes. Brown Brothers Bloodstock will offer a filly by PHOENIX OF SPAIN out of DUBAWI mare DUKINTA, a half-sister to Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed GRANDEUR.

Of the 24 lots entered, 7 are colts and 17 are fillies. There are 21 individual sires represented including proven Group 1 producing sires ARDAD, DANDY MAN, GLENEAGLES, SIR PERCY, STARSPANGLEDBANNER and TEOFILO, promising young sires INNS OF COURT and PHOENIX OF SPAIN, last year’s leading first season sire SIOUX NATION as well as BELARDO, EL KABEIR, EQTIDAAR, ESTIDHKAAR, FREE EAGLE, GALILEO GOLD, HIGHLAND REEL, KUROSHIO, PROFITABLE, TASLEET, UNFORTUNATELY and YOSHIDA.

Footage of each lot will be available to view on the Tattersalls Online website from Friday 26^th of May allowing prospective buyers 2 weeks to analyse and inspect any lot before they go under the virtual hammer on the 7^th – 8^th of June. 

All lots will be available for inspection following the breeze and pre-sale viewings can be arranged directly with vendors at the viewing location listed on each lot page.
