Consigned by Dan Skelton’s Lodge Hill Stables, WEST BALBOA boasts an outstanding career to date having both won and placed in the Grade 3 Gaskells Handicap Hurdle at Aintree on Grand National day, as well as winning the fiercely competitive Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle at Kempton. The decorated daughter of YEATS has also been placed in Grade 1 company having finished runner-up in the Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle behind STAGE STAR. She is out of FLEMINSFIRTH mare ROSTELLAN who is a half-sister to Grade 2 winning chaser CLEW BAY COVE and Listed hurdle placed MY NAME’S NOT BIN.
