47 Initial Entries for Tattersalls Online Breeze Up Session

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online Breeze Up Session has now been published and can be viewed at www.tattersallsonline.com. The breeze up entries number 47 lots with two breeze ups scheduled to take place before all lots will be offered as part of the Tattersalls Online June Sale on 5^th – 6^th June. 

The first ‘breeze’ will take place at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Tuesday 21^st May where eight lots are scheduled to gallop on the all-weather track. The second ‘breeze’ will take place at Dundalk Stadium on Tuesday 28^th May and will feature 39 lots. Breeze footage and times will be recorded and published on the Tattersalls Online website on Thursday 30^th May. 

Following the success of the inaugural Tattersalls Online Breeze Up Session in 2023, this year’s edition has been well supported by leading breeze up consignors from Britain and Ireland including C.A.J. Stables, Egmont Stud, Gary Bloodstock, GS Bloodstock, Hyde Park Stud, Kilbrew Stables, L.A. Bloodstock, Lackendarra Stables, San Antone Lodge and Woodtown House Stud amongst many others.

There are 34 individual sires represented in the sale including proven Group 1 sires ACCLAMATION, ARDAD, COTAI GLORY, DANDY MAN, FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND, KODIAC, MEHMAS, SAXON WARRIOR and SHOWCASING. Exciting young sires represented in the sale include ADVERTISE, ARIZONA, EARTHLIGHT, KAMEKO, KODI BEAR, KING OF CHANGE, PHOENIX OF SPAIN, SANDS OF MALI, WITHOUT PAROLE and ULYSSES.

Highlights of the catalogue include a filly by the resurgent ARDAD, consigned by John Bourke’s Hyde Park Stud, who is a half-sister to Listed winner and Group 3 placed juvenile GRACEFUL THUNDER. Killack Stud will offer a filly by COTAI GLORY who is a half-sister to Group 3 winner FREEDOM. Also set to feature are Cathal Healy’s PROFITABLE half-brother to five black-type performers including the Group 1 placed SUNNY KING and the MEHMAS filly out of Listed placed mare SARSHAMPLA from UK based consignor Edwards Pre-Training.

Spectators are welcome to attend the ‘breezes’ at both Dundalk and Chelmsford which both start at 10am. All lots will be available for viewing on the day and prospective buyers are encouraged to arrange pre-sale inspections of any lot prior to the sale taking place by contacting consignors directly using the contact details which are listed on the Tattersalls Online website.
