130 Lots Catalogued for Tattersalls Online February Sale

130 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls Online February Sale which will take place on Tuesday 11^thFebruary – Wednesday 12^th February with the catalogue now available to view at www.tattersallsonline.com. The sale features 76 horses in and out of training, 22 broodmares, 16 yearlings, 8 two-year-olds, 4 stores, and Breeding Rights to ACLAIM, ARDAD, HARRY ANGEL and KAMEKO.

A highlight of the horses in training is impressive last time out chase winner THE OTHER MOZZIE who dominated his rivals with an 11-length win at Naas last month earning a current IHRB rating of 138 over fences. Consigned by Gavin Cromwell’s Danestown Stables, the six-year-old son of VADAMOS is also a winner over hurdles and is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 placed hurdler MY MATE MOZZIE.

Another classy performer set to go under the virtual hammer is the Martinstown Stud consigned SHAJAK. A winner over hurdles, the son of ZARAK has also tasted success on the flat where he can boast a third-place finish in the Listed Vinnie Roe Stakes. A half-brother to triple Group 3 winner SHAMIDA, the six-year-old is one of two lots in the sale offered by J P McManus’ Martinstown Stud.

A strong selection of horses in training include last time out winners BIG R, JUST LIKE MAGIC, LITTLE BITTERN, NEDITA and SOUS INFLUENCE.

An eye-catching entry amongst the fillies is LIGHTNING FORCE, a daughter of international Group 1 sire ZOUSTAR. She is out of Listed winner and Group 3 placed CRYING LIGHTENING and is a half-sister to STRAWBERRY LACE, dam of Group 1 Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Turf winner UNQUESTIONABLE. Leading British vendor Highclere Stud will present another exciting prospect with the beautifully bred SPEECHCRAFT.  The three-year-old filly by LOPE DE VEGA is out of dual Listed winner and Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes fourth NOW YOU’RE TALKING. 

The catalogue offers 22 broodmares including the black-type producer DARK ORCHID consigned by Ballynure Park Stud. The daughter of DANSILI is the dam of three-time Listed winner and Group 2 placed DARAMETHOS. A Listed winner herself DARK ORCHID also boasts a fourth place in Group 2 company. National Hunt breeders will be attracted to the trio of broodmares consigned by Alne Park Stud including the Listed placed hurdler AWEEMINIT who is a half-sister to Group 2 winning hurdler CARACCI APACHE. Other broodmares in the sale are offered in foal to MUTASAABEQ, PERFECT POWER, SCHIAPARELLI, TERRITORIES and TWILIGHT SON.

The 16 yearlings catalogued represent sires such as CALYX, IFFRAAJ, KOOL KOMPANY, MAXIOS and ULYSSES whilst four stores in the sale include a duo by CONDUIT, as well as entries by ARIZONA and MAXIOS.
